    :O Gah, you've managed to draw out the literature fangirl in me.♥

    Yes, "In a Grove" is awesome, and "Rashomon" too, though I have yet to read Akutagawa-sensei's other works. But you gotta love that rich, Japanese feel told only in so many words. "In a Grove" and "Rashomon" are some of the shortest things I've read, and easily a couple of the most satisfying.

    I have yet to watch "The Rashomon," actually. The only Akira Kurosawa film I've seen is "Yojimbo" (shoot me now ;_;), which is a ridiculously brilliant film in its own right.

    Y'know, if you want more awesome short stories, you can always ask your fellow Dentists for them.x3 We're required to read all these wonderful, wonderful things and talk about it in school~☆
